This incantation of Crimson was so killer.

Liquid Liquid - Slip In and Out of Phenomenon

A comp of this Dance-Punk/No Wave band's best work, apparently at least.

Massive track in Hip Hop history, and mighty fine in it's own right.

The Cleaners From Venus - Midnight Cleaners

Blarobbarg mentioned this band in the shouty yesterday. I checked out a couple of tracks, dug them, then decided to check out an album. The A-side is dominated by fuzzy jangle pop with a little new wave thrown in there, while the B-side is more artsy. A couple of truly great tracks on here.

Thought I'd give some chill, jazzy R&B a shot.

The David Bowie cover was standard, but the Nirvana cover was unexpected.
