That's definitely going to be awesome but also very sad. I hope they're lying.

Clark - Clark (2014)
A highly anticipated release for me, I got this yesterday and have played it twice. After the disappointing Iradelphic, my hopes weren't too high for this one as it really did feel like Clark had lost his way. My second listen did prove more interesting then the first, but I still feel like it's a little bit dull and lacking a little focus. What's really lacking from his last two releases though are the surprise turns and really "banging" moments from a lot of his EPs and albums in the 00s. Ah well. Like I said, it's better than Iradelphic, and for that I enjoy it.

Country Teasers - The Pastoral - Not Rustic - World of Their Greatest Hits (1995)
Their debut album, figured I'd start from the beginning after checking out their 2006 album last wee. I think I like this one better than The Empire Strikes Back, nice garage/cow punk. One song sounded like a cover of an early Byrds song, but looking at the track names now maybe that's not the case. Maybe it just sounded like one for some reason. Anyway good stuff, will replay this week.

Kind of a supergroup featuring Brian Eno & Phil Manzanera (Roxy Music),Bill MacCormick (Matching Mole & Robert Wyatt) and Charles Hayward (This Heat)

The other guy became a maths teacher.

Musically it's kind of like an instrumental Soft Machine with a few added guitar solos.

One of the profound music experiences of my life was lying down in a pitch black room and staring at nothing with eyes wide open as he sang so beautifully of love gone wrong. "Cold Water" and "Eskimo" are where I alternately sank into the abyss of his despair and then flew with him on his mad cocaine high.

Carried on with the mind blowing. I really love Baths' eerie sound. This one is Ocean Death.

Karl Hector & The Malcouns - Unstraight Ahead (2014)

Hoping for something similar to what I got with The Whitefield Brothers (contains a few of the same members). Funky Afro-Beat. Gonna find their debut album too.

An old favorite..."you only got one finger, babe, and it's pointing at the door."

Love Beck. So groovy. Always fresh.
