Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's Deja Vu and Creedence Clearwater Revival's Bayou Country for my tape collection.

Aluk Todolo - Occult Rock

Fantastic stuff, this album can't decide if it's krautrock, black metal, or jazz. It has 8 ten-ish minute instrumental tracks and each track is its own side of Aluk Todolo. Lots of variety and great instrumentation going on here.

Primus with The Fungi Ensemble - Primus & the Chocolate Factory

Pretty good so far, I think Candyman is my favourite. Kind of disappointed with their cover of the Wondrous Boat Ride, since that's my favourite song/scene from the film. That being said, this album makes the world taste pretty good.

I'm a huge Primus fan from what I've heard the sound of it hardens back to Pork Soda quite a bit. I need to hear the whole thing though.

Aluk Todolo is amazing. I'm assuming you've heard their other stuff s well? I actually think Occult Rock is probably my least favorite of theirs, tho theyre all great.

I've heard the album they did with Der Blutharsch but that's it. I'll check their other ones out.

Kid Rock - The Polyfuze Method (1993)

No idea what this is going to be like but somebody mentioned it so I downloaded it.

Logic - Under Pressure (2014)

Really liked Young Sinatra from a few years back, and he's back with his first official album. Lots of Kendrick Lamar comparisons, but I've heard mixed reviews so I am not sure what to expect.

When someone mentions Kid Rock, you punch them. Or walk away. Downloading/listening is not an option.

I applaud Goofle for listening to it.

At it's worst this place has a very conservative heard mentality where people are content to hide behind listening to obscure and/or critically acclaimed albums. And then they pat themselves on the back on what an awesome diverse and eclectic taste in music they have. Suggest they listen to anything out of that bubble and you may as well be talking to yourself sometimes.

Even with modern mainstream pop people here only really listen to the type deemed acceptable by others almost as if they have to justify it to themselves that it's worthwhile listening to. Heaven help you listen to something unfashionable to like, that's passed off as a 'guilty pleasure'.
