Run the Jewels - RTJ2 (2014) Got the email from Jamie and Mike with the download link. It's pretty much what I expected, more of the same but maybe a little more raw and a little less Cancer 4 Cure / R.A.P. Music leftovers. I'm glad that they are working on this project as you can tell they both have a lot of fun with it and it will definitely be staying in the car for awhile. If you liked their first one then you're going to like this one as it's more of the same, and can you really expect anything more from a free album released a little over a year after the previous one, which was also released a year after both artists put out new albums? |

Finished my first listen a few minutes ago. I enjoyed it I suppose, but I didn't feel too engaged, and nothing really blew me out of the water immediately. I'm honestly a little bit disappointed, but I've been waiting for this so long that it deserves the benefit of the doubt. Maybe it'll improve with time. |
