Savages - Silence Yourself Woke up to some feminist post-punk. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...9;re_Dead!.jpg Flying Lotus - You're Dead The soundtrack I had playing while I babysat some kids, even made them put in an ear-bud. Great stuff. http://www.thegaslightanthem.com/fil...p-original.jpg The Gaslight Anthem - American Slang The 59' Sound and this^ still remains the Gaslight Anthem's best reecords yet. |

Just listened to Elliott Smith's self-titled album beautiful singer-songwriter album, I definitely will be going back to it to get more out of and learn some of the songs he has some tricky chord progressions.

I only put recent downloads in that listened to/downloaded thread. So daily listens, new or old, I'll put in here.
Wintersleep - Untitled (2005) http://a3.mzstatic.com/us/r30/Music/...er326x326.jpeg DANGERDOOM - The Mouse and the Mask (2005) http://rymimg.com/lk/f/l/e36013d845d...c6/3775559.jpg NehruvianDOOM - NehruvianDOOM (2014) http://rymimg.com/lk/f/l/82048932bcc...c5/5346806.jpg Flying Lotus - You're Dead! Slayer - "Show No Mercy" Just listened to it for the first time. Loved it completely. |
Show No Mercy is great, so many good times jammin' tracks from that album.
Currently listening to Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - Dejà Vú for the first time, absolutely beautiful. |
Today I listened to
http://store.deathwishinc.com/graphi...retched.hi.jpg Nazi Dust - Wretched Hour. Hard and raw as ever. http://cdn.stereogum.com/files/2013/...el-300x300.jpg Carcass - Surgical Steel. This is better than Heartwork wuuuuuuuuuuttt http://www.spirit-of-metal.com/les%2.../pics/logo.jpg Love Lost But Not Forgotten - Love Lost But Not Forgotten. This is piercing, emotionally, and just those damned vocals. Love Lost But Not Forgotten - Upon the Night, I See A New Misery http://www.metal-archives.com/images/3/2/9/1/3291.jpg Demolition Hammer - Epidemic of Violence. I rec'd this to Justin earlier, because you can't just go around saying thrash isn't heavy. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/413ADGD31GL.jpg Reverend Glasseye - Black River Falls Louder Than Words - Unholy Punk-Rock http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...f_a_Virgin.jpg Painkiller - Guts Of A Virgin/Buried Secrets. That's just the cover for the former, but I'm trying to keep images small, the ones without them were too big and I couldn't find others. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...The_Slits).jpg The Slits - Cut. Really great, I wish more bands had a sound like this and the Pop Group. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...jL._SX300_.jpg Black Moth Super Rainbow - Start A People. Always fresh, always a favorite. http://www.metal-archives.com/images/5/7/4/4/57448.jpg Ildjarn - Minnesjord I'm about to put on Dolorian - When All the Laughter Has Gone, and that'd be it for today. The genre isn't very vast, but Dolorian is my favorite for black/doom metal. |
