El-P - Cancer 4 Cure

Copped it brand new for a quid in CD format. Determined not to download it illegally, I've got it here right now it's just my laptop disc drive isn't reading discs. Also copped:

Laura Mvula - Sing to the Moon

Heard it several times, decided to support her. Very nice album.

Cannibal Ox - The Cold Vein

2 discs, got the instrumentals as well.

Lana Del Rey - Born To Die

Can't be arsed to find a pic you've all seen it. Nice album.

Septicflesh - Titan (2014)

Great album and a worthy followup to 2011's The Great Mass. Most of the time I find symphonic metal is a little cheesy and adds very little to the music, but these guys really know how to make the strings and horns add depth and a feeling of watching some epic fantasy movie. I've been saying for years that Dimmu Borgir's 2003 album Death Cult Armageddon could make a great dark fantasy movie soundtrack, well I think Titan would make an excellent soundtrack for the sequel.

Nice selection indeed. Thought I am not aware of Laura Mvula.

You've definitely heard Green Garden. The album is worth a listen.

Hmm I'll check it out, it sounds like it's right up my alley, since that's one of my favorite Dimmu Borgir albums. I also already like a few tracks from Septic Flesh so I feel it's just a matter of time I find something I love from them.
