Yvette - Process (2013)
Some noise/post-hardcore/post-punk sorta thing. Pretty good, needs more spins.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Sunny Day Real Estate - "Waffle" (LP2, 1995)

Some days I like LP2 more than Diary. This song is one of the reasons.

Download - Furnace (1995)
Most of you won't have any idea who the hell this band is, but a few of you certainly do. It's quite the mind-bender, and still incredibly unique to my ears almost 20 years after its release. The group's name was much more cool in 1995 than it is now, though. Skinny Puppy's cEvin Key and Dwayne R. Goettel (RIP) join forces with Phil Western, producer/mixer Ken "Hiwatt" Marshall, and Mark Spybey from Dead Voices on Air to produce what sounds like a logical progression of Skinny Puppy's sound after Last Rights - something a bit more techno with dance beats strewn about that tease you just enough to get you on the dance floor before crumbling into chaos - all while retaining SP's electro industrial, multi-textured sound. Very fresh indeed. I believe Dwayne R. Goettel once described Download's sound direction as "destroyed techno". Mark Spybey (DVOA) and Genesis P. Oridge (Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV) provide otherwordly vocals and vocal samples throughout. A real fucking head trip! Happy to revisit it once in a while, especially with a nice set of cans on my ears.

A great album, and one I definitely need to listen to more!

Also, I got this based on Goofle's comments:

I really dig it. It has this hyperactive, wise ass energy to it that reminds me a lot of Shitmat. I think my only complaint is that it's way too long, and because of that, listening to it straight through gets kind of dull after a while. But I think it's the perfect thing to throw in my "Manic Electro" playlist and listen on shuffle with the tracks popping in among the likes of Maruosa, Kid 606, Igorrr, Otto Von Schirach and the aforementioned Shitmat.

i defiantly think that the best years of Download are up through III when Spyby was more involved ion the group.....i went through a long and dark Dead Voices on Air binge and obviously there was quite a bit of Download play and most of it came from Furnace....great album that really should be heard by everyone at least once

John Zorn/George Lewis/Bill Frisell - More News For Lulu (1992)

I haven't gotten hold of the first album (News For Lulu) but whilst looking for it, I realised I actually had this in a folder. So here goes...

edit: And now I have his whole discography downloading so woop.

Definitely agree with you that their best output was up through III. They've got some good material after that but to be honest it might as well all be the same album. It pains me to say that. But yes, Spybey played a huge role in what made them good. I remember seeing them live on The Eyes of Stanley Pain tour and just being mesmerized watching Spybey pick up random noise-makers and whatever he was doing sounded exactly like what I knew from the albums - plus his vocals. It was just amazing. Watching the other members was amazing too. Still to this day the most mesmerizing show I've ever seen. And yeah, ok, the gel acid and shroom tea I consumed prior to the show may have had a role in that.
