Noriah Mills by GOG

GOG makes some really cool dark ambient/drone stuff and Ive been listening to them(him?) a lot today and probably will continue. Unlike a lot of drone, they make comparatively short albums (~30min), which i kind of dont like. Wish this album was longer tbh but that's more of a compliment on how good it is.

I'll be checking out both of those albums, No Youth is very good so far. The singer sounds familiar, is he in another project?

I dont think he is as far as i know. I know what you mean about him sounding familiar though, i just cant put my finger on who it sounds like. Also if you guys like No Youth id highly recommend their newest Want. Better imo and could be my album of the year. They are different beasts (Want doesnt have any guitars or bass) but still both are great. The vocals on Want are a lot better, or more interesting atleast, too imo. It's harsh but he sounds drunk haha. very cool.

Listening to it more intently I noticed he sort of sounds like the singer from Spiderland.

Fontanelle - Vitamin F

This is some awesome funky jazz rock fusion stuff. I imagine if Miles were to release an album today it would sound like this.

Gazing Long Into The Abyss by Meander

breakcore i guess? idk electronic subgenres are very strange to me. Feels similar to Venetian Snares so that's what im going with. And now theyre sampling that twisted mark twain claymation movie from the 80s. pretty cool; better than the album art would suggest (it kinda suggests shitty alt metal or something i think)
