Heavy Starch - Dirty Art Club Really enjoying this. Imaginative instrumental hip-hop that keeps a steady beat. Nice to chill to. Convinced enough to give Vermilion a listen.

The Moles - Untune the Sky (1991) Garagey/noisy indie rock/pop. They put out a compilation this year called Flashbacks and Dream Sequences: The Story of the Moles which is how I first learned of them. I haven't listened to it but have had a handful of tracks come up on shuffle and they sound interesting. I think a few of the songs are on this album. This was really great after one listen, seems like one of those hidden gems. Nation of Ulysses - 13-Point Program to Destroy America (1991) Why the F did I wait so long to listen to this? It's been on my to-listen list for at least ten years I'd say. Sounding quite good right now. I've been listening to a bit of Make Up recently but this is much better.

Seconding approval of Nation of Ulysses, awesome album
I just picked this up. Local indie/punk band associated with Tony Molina/OVENS, one of my favorite artists. Pretty excited to give it a listen.

Wow... what a waste of 7$. The Violent Change album sounds like they just got really ****ed up and messed around in a studio for 20 minutes. There was a time when I would've thought that sounded cool... now it's just ****ing lame. The EP was way better, by lightyears.

Oh? That's weird I don't remember getting any sort of email about it. Could be that I overlooked it in my junk box and accidentally deleted it...hope not! Too late to search my deleted folder at this point. I don't even seem to have a Bandcamp account to log into! Ahhh! I always pay with PayPal but I'm still surprised I never set up an account. Guess I better find other means to download the album.
