Ocean Rain is easily my favorite Bunnymen album, followed by HUH. I like that Rain Parade album too (I listen to it when I want something peaceful), and I'll second what Zer0 said about Felt.

Archive - Axiom (2014)

Didn't even know they had a new album coming out until I grabbed it.

I think of him more as a poet fronting a jangle pop band than a singer. I find his vocal style quite distinct.
Keep in mind this was my first time listening, maybe the vocals will stand out more next time.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

The Icarus Line - Penance Soiree (2004)
A straight-up, noisy rock 'n' roll album. Straight-up rock 'n' roll often bores the crap out of me but this album isn't half bad I guess. What saves it are the abrasive guitars and bucket-loads of energy, however the album could have benefited from a shorter running time.

Neko Case - Fox Confessor Brings the Flood (2006)
A very enjoyable alt-country album. 'Star Witness' is the standout track for me but there's plenty of great songs here. The album seems to bounce from romantic and uplifting country-pop to dark, eerie ballads. But all throughout, her reverb-heavy voice sounds wonderfully warm.

The Horrors - Luminous (2014)
After the hugely enjoyable Primary Colours and Skying this album had a lot of expectation riding on it. Unfortunately it falls flat on it's face. The band isn't taking any risks here and have drifted into that safe, arena rock territory occupied by countless middle-of-the-road straddling bands. The result is an album which is bland and unmemorable for the most part.

I absolutely adore this album. Definitely my fav of hers.

anyway for whatever reason I have never gotten into the swans. They've always seemed like a band I should like but don't. So once again I'm trying to find something in them to like..

But yeah. Not doing it for me :/ maybe ill try again later but I'm not sure theres any reason to tbh
