Yeah, looking forward to hearing this too. "Gracious tide" was one of my top albums of 2012. Didn't even know they had released their second album until a few days ago, when it was duly grabbed.

Also, nice to see ya back!

Unfortunately I may have to burst your bubble a bit, as I found the album to be tremendously unremarkable First big disappointment of 2014 for me

Vanishing Point by Primal Scream. I totally lost touch with The Scream in the Noughties. The only album I owned by them was Screamadelica. Then I browsed the 100 Best Albums list of the '90s by the NME the other day and Vanishing Point came up.

Its a great album!

That was in the 100 best albums of the 2000's list - not the '90s. I bought that too but have not listened to it yet.

Could have sworn it came out in 99 but it's all a bit blurry

Its says 2000 on the back of the case. But there are some bands that have two or more albums in the lists.....

Yes XTRMNTR came second in the best albums from the year 2000 list. Vanishing Point came fourth in the 1997 list.

I've been looking at so many lists recently it all gets muddled up in my head.

I'm sure it was 2000 but really early that year.
I'm pretty sure a couple of singles from it came out in 99
