I downloaded Days Of Future Pass by Moody Blues. It may be sissy, it may be corny, it may be filled with Hollywood strings, but it is ****in great.

The Sad Bastard Book Club - Another Family Dinner at the Saturn Residence Ends In Tears (2010)

Listening to this on the band's bandcamp right now and it's pretty enjoyable. It's like this weird and kind of creepy folk rock album.

Passenger - Wide Eyes Blind Love

Passenger's debut album as a singer-songwriter. I like it, it's more folk and less pop than "the new one everyone knows", All the Little Lights (which I like, too). As with All the Little Lights, Wide Eyes has some unnecessary "ooh-ooooohs" and harmony singing that makes it sound less honest and intimate than it would if it was just Rosenberg's voice and his guitar. Other than that, it's great.

Play Deep Funk - The Sound Stylistics

I'm not even a quarter of the way through the album and I'm already loving this. All out acid funk.

This takes the cake as favourite MBM album for sure. It's complete dope. At first you enter with hip-hop sounding tracks, then some gritty machine energy lingers in between, and then back to hip-hop. Really one of those memorable albums for me.
Yes, yes, I love the shit out of early MBM and especially that one. Satyricon wound up being my favorite after almost 20 years of being a fan, but there's no comparison to the hop-hop/industrial madness of the first few as far as what they should be praised for.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

The last album I purchased wasn't actually for myself but I very much enjoyed listening to it with my Dad!
Pantera - Cowboys from hell.
Fairly cheap too so I was impressed.

Various Artists - L.I.E.S. Presents Music For Shut-Ins
I'm trying to expand my musical horizons so I downloaded some VA compilations. This one is various electronic/noise songs, one disc full of established acts and the other fresh new artists. Really liking it actually. The 'Samantha's Vacation' track is the highlight so far.

Various Artists - Lee Hazlewood Industries: There's A Dream I've Been Saving
I have had Cowboy In Sweden for ages now and always enjoyed it so I downloaded this compilation of Lee Hazlewood's albums as well as related artists on his label.

The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die - Whenever, If Ever
Mondo Bungle and WhateverDude's chat about this album in the shoutbox last night finally pushed me to download.

Hearing it for the first time as I'm writing.
