Horror Vacui by Mortaur

Now this is some spooky shiit. Dark ambient for fuelling your nightmares.

Tim Hecker - Virgins

This is a damn good album. Never thought too much of Hecker based off of my first listen to him a while back, but this album is pushing me to check out his back catalogue. Hecker explores some interesting territories while falling back on conventional electronic focuses without sacrificing originality. Here tis

Latest one I bought is Prism by Katy Perry. I'm currently listening to The Open Door by Evanescence though.

I got this a few days ago, but finally decided to put it on the table after getting a new stereo receiver. It's a compilation comprised of noisy psychedelia with the likes of Roy Montgomery, Flying Saucer Attack, Bardo Pond, Jessamine, and a few others. It even comes with a 12" x 12" booklet with a short biography of each band, and the recording of each song on the comp. It's pretty fucking wicked.

The Mission - God's Own Medicine

So this is one of the vinyl's my Dad had in the attic. Started off pretty Gothic, and I am liking it.

That comp seems pretty damn awesome. By the way, what are your opinions on Jessamine? Their second album Long Arm of Coincidence sounds like nothing else I've heard. Definitely a band that needs more love around here.
