I've recently purchased Heavy Duty by Jose Keenan. It was only $5 for ten songs, which was a damn good deal if you ask me. This guy actually goes to my school. I met him and we looked at each other's music and what not. This kid is like Bob Dylan incarnate, I swear.

Just went to see The New Orleans Suspects and was impressed enough by what I heard to pick up their first two albums at the show.
Self-titled debut studio album - (2012) Caught Live at the Maple Leaf - (2012) The studio album is a good listen and the live album is even better! This band really shines playing live for an audience. Top-notch musicianship from 5 veterans of the New Orleans music scene. Band Bio New Orleans Suspects |

I just love how the sound is creating space - I think Nils Frahm managed to redefine that word. However, I'm looking forward to further albums. Hopefully he'll work together with Ólafur Arnalds more often! Bonobo - The North Borders One of my best musical discoveries of 2013. The KEXP version of the album is fascinating. |

I just got the new RVIVR record. Came out in the beginning of the year, just never got around to it.
It's their best release yet. Erica's voice has gotten a lot better, I wish they would let her just take the lead on vocals and let Matt come in for harmonies, his voice is not so great on it's own.
