Downloaded Ednaswap's self-titled 1995 album because I finally found out they were the brilliant writers of the vastly improved rock original "Torn" that Natalie Imbruglia did okay with. Although I've never been a fan of some old rocker voices, Anne Preven's works.

Pretty cool post-hardcore. Nothing particularly inventive or new in terms of musical styles, but they are Japanese - which is certainly new to me in this genre.

Good stuff.

I've never had my own nice computer before and if I ruin it ill be screwed but I'm sick of listening to the same 10 or so albums that are on my phone.

don't risk downloading torrents because after awhile your connection is going to get throttled and if you attempt to do it on a campus you'll get in trouble.

The Tossers - Long Dim Road

It was alright, but the songs that weren't alright were even better. The opening track is a personal favourite.

Sometimes you just need a bit of good old fashioned English eccentricity.

Sólstafir - Köld (2009)
Spent the weekend sifting through some compilation CDs from a few years ago and this band caught my attention so I decided to check them out. They're a progressive metal band from Iceland with strong roots in black metal. This album unfolds brilliantly over the course of it's lengthy one hour ten minutes and doesn't feel drawn-out at any stage. But what struck me was how well it gave a great sense of melancholy, which is something I have yet to find a metal do as convincingly as, say, bands like The Cure or The Smiths for example.

using blogspots

Type in artist name/album name and get them through there.

I think Filestube works as well but to be honest. I haven't used that method in ages.

I think makes you more likely to get throttled by your provider, not less.

Are you saying direct downloading is more likely to get you throttled than using torrents?
