Thomas Was Alone OST by David Housden

It kind of goes without saying that indie games automatically have really good soundtracks and this is no exception. The soundtrack compliments the gameplay and story quite well, a good blend of melancholy, quirk, and inspiration that follows those sections of the game. It's mostly strings and piano pieces, but with some nice chiptune and ambiance thrown in for good measure.

Joe Purdy - Julie Blue (2004)
Laid back, folky, singer/songwriter stuff. This is just the kind of album I was looking for for my holidays.

Moonsorrow - Verisäkeet (2005)
I used to have an abum of these guys a while back, and I cant even remember which one it was. It didnt leave much of an impression on me. This one, however, left me wanting more. Somewhat of a mixed back of folk, black and prog metal, with some of the most intense screaming I have heard for a while.

Dobie Gray - The In Crowd

Compilation of 60s/70s Texas soul. Pretty good, but can anyone recommend where to start with the studio records?

I remember the name Doby Gray by the song Drift Away. It was a popular song back in the day, and you can still catch it on the radio from time to time.

Ghostpoet - Some Say I So I Say LIght

This album's just as good as his last album, and it's still got the same relaxing and interesting sound. There's some cool experimentation with the beats, and there's even a track with This Heat's Charles Hayward that's pretty awesome too. Highly recommended for hip-hop fans.

Talking Heads - Remain in Light

I still think Fear of Music is their best album, but my collection does feel a little poorer without this.

Green Day - 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours

Consists of their first studio album, their two first EPs, and a track from a compilation album. I like it a lot more than American Idiot and most of what I've heard from their later works, it's great.
