Contra > MVTC > Vampire Weekend

They aren't a memorable enough band for me to really care that much, but I certainly have it the other way round if I was pushed.

Extraordinary. Early Bob Dylan, Jeff Buckley and John Martyn in a new package.

I definitely get the John Martyn vibe from a lot of his songs. Not sure about your comparison to the other two artists, but it's a very good listen nonetheless. The title track is wonderful. What did you think of the track "It's Always Been You" ?

Pretty much what I thought too. I didn't get a Buckley or Dylan vibe in the vocals or the songwriting, but Martyn I understand.

I rather enjoyed it too but I think I need another listen to really form an opinion.

That surely isn't a British-ism?

If you forced me to say which one I liked more I would say the reverse order to yours.

Cryptograms - Deerhunter

It's actually kinda boring me. Not Deerhunters best.

Boduf Songs - Burnt Up On Re-Entry (2013)

Finally got round to this and it's great. More Psychedelic Rock elements that any of his previous albums, which are generally more stripped down.

I'm on a R&B kick at the moment after listening to The Dream's 4 Play.

Quadron is more avant R&B, some would even say Folk Soul.
