The last two posts added a few albums to my ever expanding wishlist on RYM :(

I also had bob.'s Oblivians on my wishlist from last week, I think I was perusing some random person's 2013 list on RYM.

EDIT: I just looked through your latest wishlist ads, and saw a few that I really like: The Sorrows, Tages, and Juno. Fantastic! I've only heard the British Smoke (album It's Smoke Time), not the American one.

Just listening to the new Vampire Weekend album, Modern Vampires of the City. It is pretty good. More of a "Chamber Pop" effort than their usual stuff. Encouraging, and a grower I am sure.

The Builders and the Butchers - Western Medicine (2013)

Gothic Country/Americana type deal apparently. Hopefully it's pretty great.

Vinyl reissue of MX-80 Sound's "Hard Attack" album from 1977. Art-punk band from my hometown.

I didn't know they had a new album out, thanks! If this one doesn't do anything for you their 2009 album Salvation Is A Deep Dark Well is my favorite out of their discography.

I was listening to that album earlier and it is very good. Have the new one on now and it is equally good. Feels a lot more grand.

Builders and the Butchers are soooooooooooooo Decemberists. So naturally, I enjoy them.

I've been waiting for this to come out for months and it is amazing. Two of the best folk punk acts around together on one split. Reminds me of why I love the genre so much.
