To pick a middle ground, it sounds slightly better on second listen and 'Atlas' has revealed itself to be a cool song, but the album still loses my attention somewhere around the mid point. Can't see this being something I'd go back to regularly.

Just ordered this online. It's their "fabled", unreleased 1991 album that Thrill Jockey has issued on vinyl with free download. Hope this arrives soon!

What song is that? If you're referring to Giorgio by Moroder, it isn't Daft Punk discussing their love of music, it's actually Giorgio Moroder: An Italian disco pioneer.

I can't stress this enough, I am head-over-heels in love with this whole record. After hearing this album several times, it became quite clear to me that Get Lucky was just a song they needed to make for a single. Every single other track has so much more substance and ideas that now Get Lucky is easily the worst song on the whole record.

And that song is still brilliant.

I recently downloaded Peanut Butter Blues and Melancholy Jam by U.K. rapper Ghostpoet. I'm not a big fan of rap music but Ghostface's languid conversational raps & his off tempo riddims are hypnotic. His music sounds like a low-fi fusion of ska, dub & hip hop. He released a second album a couple weeks ago which I'm anxious to sit down and give a good listen to.
