I've been a casual fan of this band for the last few releases, nothing awesome but worth the occasional listen. Putrifiers II was alright, I probably enjoyed it more than Carrion Crawler / The Dream but still it wasn't awesome. I like this one more than anything else I've heard from them, it'll get more plays from me. I really hate the album cover though. They had some good ones in the past but Putrifiers II was also ugly.
I'm anxious to hear this, and hope it's in stock at one of the record shoppes tomorrow. Yeah, agree about that cover- yeeech!

Ah, yeah, I forgot Rieflin was in the band too. I'd be curious to hear what you think of it.

Palma Violets - 180 (2013)
It was ok on first listen. Nothing struck me as cool enough that I'm going to hurry to listen to it again though. Accessible and inoffensive garage rock revival, doesn't do anything new.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Youth Lagoon - Wondrous Bughouse (2013)

I've had this on repeat for about a week now. Really good psychedelic-ish, catchy rock music.

The Black Angels Indigo Meadow

Heard this album playing in the record store today and bought a copy. Some catchy garage-psych riffs & melodies in this release

Shout! by Devo, an album that sadly went into the cut-outs in quick time. It's chart appearance was a quick rise and fall. Some good songs here, if not as potent. Still, I'm sure that a good number of copies have that Devo Merchandise order form with the ad for We're All Devo still in. (see attachments)

Plus, The Beat Goes On - Vanilla Fudge (They arrived with a killer debut album, and...then...this! A couple of good moments, but I'm still trying to go through it in one shot.), The Firm (Jimmy Page's two-album 80's band. "Radioactive" was a good single, though), Every Mothers Son's Back (Second album by peppy 60's Pop group with the second side being better than the first. Saw this in the C/O bins as a teen in The 80's along with Herman's Hermits' Blaze!), Do It Now! (Ronco instant C/O collection which was an ad for the anti-drug Do It Now! Foundation with bands known for their drug usage. Got this as a kid, now reunited.)
