I've downloaded several albums over the past month but True by Violens has really caught my ear.

I'm a sucker for guitar bands that have the trippy neo-psychedelic Manchester sound of 1989.
I love these guys and their past band Lansing-Dreiden. The leading title track annoys me though. Their first EP and LP are great also, if you haven't heard them.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Spoiler for large artwork:

Sadistik - Flowers For My Father (2013)

This is so far my most anticipated album of 2013. Cody has a real knack for diction and can paint a very vibrant and beautiful mental image with his music. His music also just naturally speaks to melancholy people like myself, and from what I can tell from his personal facebook account he seems like the kind of person I would get along with naturally. In any case this is his first major release on Fake Four Inc. and it has some good feature spots like Astronautalis, Deacon the Villain, Cage, and Fake Four Inc. founder Ceschi.

Boat - Songs That You Might Not Like

Pretty cool indie rock album. Nothing remarkable but I just liked it.

Have you heard any others? I listened to them quite a bit last year, and prefer Setting the Paces and Dress Like Your Idols to that one. Looking forward to their new one in March.

I had heard some good things about this album, he wrote it about Eyedea didn't he? I've never listened to this particular artist, is he in the same vain as the aforementioned?

Jazzing all over the place

Dizzy Gillespie/Stan Getz/Sonny Stitt - For Musicians Only

I usually try to stay away from anthologies but I already have Far East Suite, I really wanted "It Don't Mean A Thing", and didn't know where to go next.

also

Have still never heard this. Excited for Shaking the Habitual.

**** Buttons - Tarot Sport

^ Take the hypnotic, electronic noodling qualities of Strawberry Jam and MPP.... a crank them to 11. Good stuff

\/ Expecting this to be ****, which sucks because I really liked Sainthood, The Con, and If It Was You. We will see....
