I haven't heard the new Lightning Bolt EP. Is it good? I own two Mindflayer albums though. I have to admit I've only listen to them a few time since I got them but they seem decent.

Haven't listened to any of ATs EPs. But after hearing this gem (with fantastic live drums) I am sure I'll be impressed.

The Flashbulb - Soundtrack to a Vacant Life
Second album I'm checking out, Kirlian Selections was such a good one, you can tell that he was super touchy on every last little detail, and I give him major props because there is a lot going on. (and 31 tracks, WTF?!)

And I just know this is going to be amazing...

Is Irish Punk even a genre? Probably not but this band is killer.

The White Mice—EXcreaMaNTRaINTRaVEINaNUS
On first listen at 1am after several drinks I proclaim this album pretty badass. The band is from the same Providence music scene as Lightning Bolt and they have a somewhat similar aesthetic. A little like a cross between noise rock and powerviolence, this album is slow, churning, and ear-shatteringly loud. If you like that kind of thing, you'd probably like this album.
