If you're posting album covers with no titles or band names on them, it's kind of helpful if you mention what they are. Just sayin'.

Antigama/Psychofagist (split)—9 Psalms of an Antimusic to Come (2012)
If I couldn't have a new Psychofagist full-length in 2012, at least I have this short split album to tide me over. Adding extra appeal is the fact that they cover Tom Waits' "Misery is the River of the World" in their trademark avant-grindcore style (unfortunately I can't find it on YouTube though). Also a plus is the fact that the band they're sharing this split with, Antigama, is pretty damn good, though I have to admit this is the first I've heard of them. Their track "For Just One Breath" is sort of a metal equivalent of "Stayin' Alive" in that it's pure walking down the sidewalk strutting your stuff music, though in this case it's more of a black t-shirt scenario than a white leisure suit one. Check it out:

And here's a sample of the Psychofagist:

The one that isn't mentioned is a Bobby Womack album, I think.

Flying Lotus - Until The quiet comes

Hot damn am I amazed. This album is closest i've seen any album come to the personification of a dream. It's a beautiful album that soared to near the top of my albums for 2012. And it keeps getting better the more I listen to it.

There is a guy at work who is really into Electronic music but mainly listens to DJ mixes and I offered this up as one of the weirdest and original things I had ever heard. His reply was that he listens to lots of weird stuff and it wouldn't match up. He lasted a whole 2 tracks before throwing his hands up and proclaiming that it was too odd even for him!
