rick wakeman - the six wives of henry the eighth My boyfriend bought me this after i expressed interest in his solo work. This is unusual for him because he hates prog with a burning fiery passion. it's the best christmas present ever! Quite a few members from yes are on this album. Some of the bass work is incredible, and of course, Rick Wakeman is a funky mother****er on keyboard. I totally dig this. it's the kind of album i need right now. The Powdered Rhino Horns - Blow Job(Doorway To A Rhinos World) At it's best this is a pretty decent Trip Hop/70s Jazz Funk album. At it's worst it sounds like M People with a better singer. I don't think I own any albums called 'Blow job' so that must count for something. Budgie - Radio Sessions 1974 & 1978 Used to own this now I have it back again. I seem to like Budgie's live stuff more than their studio albums and this is a good excuse to listen to Breadfan twice. Gedo - Gedo Decent live album by a pretty good Japanese psych/proto metal/proto punk band. Holly Golightly and the Brokeoffs - Sunday Run Me Over Feels like ages since I last listened to a Holly Golightly album, but she's never disappointed me yet. Psychic TV - Silver Sundown Machine Vs. Alien Lightning Meat Machine When Psychic TV cover someone else's songs they usually do an amazing job. This is only a single but it's an 18 minute long medly of Hawkwind's Silver Machine & Hurry On Sundown which automatically makes this doubly awesome. I think I might listen to this another 50 times today.

Japan - Gentlemen Take Polaroids It's pretty good, but becomes boring/repetitive in parts. I am getting into the band so it's likely I will revisit at some point in the future, but my least favourite of theirs so far.
