Rain Tree Crow - Rain Tree Crow This is essentially the band Japan reformed under a different name. Apparently experimental art rock which sounds good to me. I have been digging into Japan's discography a lot of late and they are fantastic, so the bar is set high.

Converge, All We Love We Leave Behind. Um, wow. I'm listening to this and I'm getting blown away. This is metalcore, and not the ****ty kind. Can't believe I didn't check this out when it was released, I would've been rocking out to it for months now.

Have you heard any Converge albums before this one? Their 2001 album Jane Doe constantly makes it into lists of Best Metal Albums so that's a good place to go if you're brand new to the band. It's on Spotify too. But yeah All We Love We Leave Behind has been kicking my ass at the gym all week, and I'm loving it, in a totally not BDSM-way.

I downloaded a bunch of stuff yesterday. I haven't listened to any but the first yet, which sounds very promising so far.
