"DIVORCE...HA! Fantastic blast of no wave thrash bashing like ungodly offspring sprung from Cuntzilla's incubator a bloody smear of nasty mutation oozing a sickly runoff of infectious virulence naughty little bastards...." while listening to a few Amebix tracks on youtube i noticed that they suggested checking out a band called Blood Of The Black Owl....i lisented to hal\f of their album The Banishing Ritual and was amazed by it.....they have a bandcamp page and their albums are very cheap Blood Of The Black Owl - The Banishing Ritual apparently a solo side project of some guy named Chet W. Scott this album embraces and combines ancient ritual chants with scary doom and black metal while combing full orchestra and eerie electronic ambient landscapes with a dash of folk |

Alright, I gave in to the hype and gave this a listen. What a bloody fantastic album, it's like Tunnel Canary toned it down a little bit without losing the edge of their insanity. Love it, I wish that Glasgow was a bit closer so that I could see them play.

Joan Jett—Bad Reputation Pretty good album really. Rocks hard on the rocking tracks, bleeds hard on the ballads. Speaking of the ballads, I was a little surprised to notice on those tracks how much her voice sounds like Helen Marnie from Ladytron. Definely not a bad thing. |

Hearing mixed reviews, but Billie Joe's freakout at IHeartRadio was too badass. Plus I do have an interest in listening to this.
