This is a collaborative effort between Britt Daniel from Spoon and dan Boeckner from Wolf Parade. Just listened to it for the umpteenth time and it always seems to get better. it has this retro 80's feel to it. If you're a fan of both those incredible bands, I'd listen to this.

I guess I'll be the only one to post on this forum...
By far Beck's best work to date. Sounds like a modern day Dylan.

Although Ambrosia are frighteningly underrated by folks who don't know their output well, this record is rather unusual in its own right for a multi-platinum, West Coast album: its got two FM groovy pop staples, some punchy guitar led tunes...and yet a number or two here pretty much qualify as progressive rock.

Stumbled upon this piece at my local store and loved the artwork. bought it without listen to it before and was blown away at the diversity of sounds on it. never heard of this guy before. so now its playing on repeat. |
