Neneh Cherry & The Thing - The Cherry Thing
I've been listening sporadically to this for the past two weeks or so and find it pretty amazing so far. Neneh collaborating with free-jazz trio The Thing and covering material of artists as wide-ranging as Martina Topley-Bird, Iggy & The Stooges, Ornette Coleman, Suicide, MF Doom and Don Cherry. |

Overlooked post-hardcore low-fi classic by The Replacemenet. Overshadowed by the mighty "Let It Be", this was probably a little more diverse record. I love the fast and loose playing. Suits the material perfectly.
