A State Of Trance 550 is the last album I bought. I think it is a pretty good album, but that's just me.

I completely agree. Even if someone hasn't listened to it yet, I wish they'd at least put a vague description of what the album is, or what they expect out of it. I find tons of good stuff in this thread, but rarely when someone posts nothing but an album cover.

Not a bad idea. I'm guilty of just posting album covers and a sentence about the songs I like. Though that's not really enough for my liking.

the bands description of themselves
"Hailing from 13th century, these mystical troubadours failed to destroy the Earth in an apocalyptic event gone horribly awry.
After this failure, making music seemed the only way to get cosmic redemption and women.
By opening a diabolical rift and traveling to the future, they escaped the Catholic inquisition and are now getting ready for a second attempt at the aforementioned apocalyptic event. "

for a one track (37 min) album this is amazing....a perfect fusion of Krautrock, dark psychedelic and occult mysticism....i listened to it twice on their bandcamp page....and then decided i had to buy as this is what i want stuck in my head for at least the next 7 days

Well, I know the old don't judge a book by its cover thing.... and I really should have.

This album is a dreadful boring mess of an album. Sad to see one of my favorite bands become THIS bad... there was nothing on this album I liked, I skipped through all of them within 3 seconds... nothing about this album appealed to me, and it was a waste of time and money to even buy it.

Sad that such a once great band, and an influential and important one at that... can become this much of a pathetic joke.

Sorry guys, won't be buying any more albums.... the last few have been bad... but not this bad.

Hop Along - Get Disowned

Awesome Indie, Folk, Punk and slightly Emo(ish) album right here. My 4th of the year on RYM (based on one listen via spotify) and I will be listening to this a few more times today.

Corb Lund - Cabin Fever (2012)

Awww yeah, the first country album of the year that I've actually been anticipating, and I already know it's good because it was available for streaming last week.
