Why is it presumptuous? Surely there's something to say about it even if you haven't given it a listen yet. I assume you download different albums for different reasons or are more excited about some than others. There's always something you can say.

You do realize that it's possible to give the last album you downloaded a listen before forming an opinion on it, right? No precognition required.

I see what you're going for Jansz, but when I post in here, it's usually because I want to see if anyone else has something to say about what I picked up, be it a recommendation or disappointment or what else. I do admit that I enjoy it when someone tells us a bit about what they've picked up post-listen though, so I can decide whether or not to pick it up myself. Different strokes I suppose.

Perfect example of how little effort it takes! That's for reposting that. In just a handful of words it is indeed possible to communicate some sort of opinion, even when you have yet to listen to the album.
