New Model Army - Vengeance (1984)

Josef K - The Only Fun in Town (1981)

Continuing my education into post-punk, and these two albums seem to come pretty highly recommended.

Big K.R.I.T.—4eva N A Day
I heard a lot of good things about this but on first listen it just seems really, really boring. Not seeing the appeal here at all. Maybe at some point I'll give it another shot.

Jay Electronica—Act I: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge)
Another hip hop album I checked out based on hearing a lot of good things about it. In this case it actually seems pretty good. I wasn't really in the right mood when I listened to it today but I can see myself really getting into this.

I love Big K.R.I.T. personally. I don't hold his lyrical ability in any great esteem, but he puts together some of the best Hip Hop mixtapes you are ever likely to find. I can just put them on and enjoy the ride.

In terms of trying to find some albums that you are interested in... I assume you have heard EL-P's album by now? If not, you would probably get into that. I would also check out Danny Brown's 2011 album XXX or even Kendrick Lamar's Section.80 if you are looking for a Hip Hop album to grab your attention

Edit: Somehow I forgot to post that you should check out Billy Woods - History Will Absolve Me. Pretty strange Hip Hop album that is easy to get into,at least in my opinion. And what the hell, check out Quakers - Quakers while you're at it

Polysics - We Ate The Machine.
This is absolute quality. More Japanese hybrid music that takes in everything from New Wave, old school computer game bleeps, vocoders, moogs, Melt Banana enthusiasm, Punk and is still easy on the ear. Just listen to it whatever genres you like, you will find something you like on here.. trust me. No vids as it wouldn't do it justice.

Are you talking about his newest one? I haven't heard that yet. I do like him though.
