I have Pilgrimage. Honestly, I've only listened to it a handful of times in the three years I've owned it, but that's not a knock on its quality, that's just the kind of album it is. It's not really something you put on in the background, it's something you put on to sit there and give your full attention.

Marcus D - Melancholy Hopeful Nujabes would be proud, and thus Kickstarter demonstrates why its a good idea to give brilliant, innovative hip-hop producers like this brotha all the money they want. Hooray!

a very relaxing turn for these guys....but when the thunder comes it comes in typical Om style.....love the string arrangements and the oddly relaxing Arabic interludes...this will creep into the years top ten for sure |

Fiona Apple - The Idler Wheel... (2012) I can definitely see why this album shot to the number one spot on RYM just out of nowhere. It's got lots of fun, catchy, and memorable hooks, good lyrics, and beautiful orchestration. This one will probably end up in my top 15 albums of 2012. |
