The Caretaker - Patience (After Sebald)

New album from the English ambient musician who has made some of the most subtle and beautiful music that just washes over you. I wish I had more friends and could do dinner parties because this is just the perfect background music to accompany witty banter over alcohol/ marijuana.

Excellent choice. Have you heard of William Basinski? You may like him. He's in a similar vein.

I haven't, but after a little bit of looking I think I'll try The Disintegration Loops series first, those have a lot of good reviews and I generally like album series'. Thank you for the recommendation and introducing me to The Caretaker to begin with.

Ohh no problem! I hope you like him. You introduced me to Those Poor Bastards, so now we're even... you loathsome poor bastard.

I checked it out. It's more like Stairway to the Stars than Empty Bliss, but it's still excellent. Love this track, love this artist
