Gas - Pop

An experimental album which apparently harnesses the sounds of nature. Shall give a spin later.

Vinyl rip of a limited pressing. If you dig late 70's/early 80's cult movie soundtracks and add a smattering of Electronic ambient prog you will love this. I think Bob would for sure!

This album will blow your mind. It's earned its place in my top 10 favourite albums and I only began listening to it in December.

This album is fantastic, but I would say The Greatest Story Ever Told is slightly better.

Soen - Cognitive

Opeth's ex-drummer Martin Lopez's new band. Strongly reminiscent of Tool, sounds very prog-metal-rock. The drumming is really kickass as expected, and the vocalist is clearly emulating James Maynard Keenan, but he's a bit more... traditionally talented? Less visceral? Softer? I don't know. It's nice.

heard the intro in a vid and decided to get this (it was a 55 second song, btw). some really well done pop-punk with great singing.

just got this too. former singer of Soul Coughing with an acoustic indie style, good stuff.
