The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation - Egor (2012)

Didn't even know this came out back in January. Not the most engaging music but it works miracles for writing.

The Real McKenzies - Westwinds (2012)

Good ol' Celtic punk from my home city with more of a Scottish/ Nova Scotian background. The album is a lot more technically proficient than I was expecting and there are some real standout tracks.

Anathema - Weather Systems (2012)

Sure the band has practically nothing to do with what it once was, but I still hold up that albums like A Natural Disaster (2003) and Judgement (1999) are their finest works. Even 2010's We're Here Because We're Here I'd rate higher than their early '90's death/doom stuff. If you're a fan of The Mars Volta I definitely would recommend this album.

Mirage by Camel.
Really great, unappreciated album. I love the sound of it all.

Naked City by John Zorn
Finally bought it after years of recommendations. I'm not regretting it at all

Is it by John Baizley? It sort of looks like his stuff.

Yeah it kind of does, but Wikipedia says Ryan Begley

Makes me want to get it on vinyl. Music's not half bad.
