Pallbearer - Sorrow and Extinction (2012)

Debut album from Little Rock, Arkansas traditional doom metal band Pallbearer. It seems that ever since Ghost's 2010 debut Opus Eponymous we've seen a lot of other bands playing a similar style get popular. Last year saw bands like Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats and Blood Ceremony releasing quite popular albums, and I feel Pallbearer is going to continue this trend.

Because I'm super nostalgic and it's a quality album.

Blood Brothers - Burn Piano Island Burn (2003)

Unwound - Leaves Turn Inside You (2001)

In the mood for some post-hardcore stylings.
The Unwound cover art is some of the least inspiring I've ever seen, heard good things about the record though.

That sucks. It got a good review in Alternative Press but I don't really hold their reviews in very high regard.

No, they're a Zimbabwean band.
