Busdriver - Beaus$Eros (2012)

Haven't been a big fan of his last two albums, and I don't know if I'm going to be a big fan of this one either. It's got a lot of singing on it, which is cool I guess, but when I listen to Busdriver it's because I want to hear crazy fast verses that make my brain bleed just trying to figure out what he's saying.

His first album is crazy good, but I haven't checked out any of his other work.

If he does make an EP with Del The Funky Homosapien I will be buzzing.

His 2005 album Fear of a Black Tangent is my personal favourite, but it is because of Tony Hawk's Underground that I found him with the song "Imaginary Places". His 2007 album RoadKillOvercoat is decent, but doesn't have the same punch that his previous one did, and I never could get into his 2009 album Jhelli Beam. It's a shame really because he was one of the earliest hip hop artists that I could really get into, so not really enjoying his latter work is a little disheartening. If you're only familiar with Temporary Forever (2002) I would definitely recommend Fear of a Black Tangent.

Fear of a Black Tangent is great! "Befriend the Friendless Friendster" is seriously one of my favorite hip hop songs of all time.
