Tame Impala - Innerspeaker

Was browsing in a record store this weekend as they played this over the speakers. I really liked the sound and production, so I asked what it was and bought it.

Most recently bought:
- From Chaos To Eternity by Rhapsody Of Fire
- Anthology: Set The World Afire by Megadeth

I downloaded Streets: A Rock Opera by Savatage (1991) recently too, it's a pretty good album.

that one is a pretty uneven comp, they should have used the final versions instead of demos or live versions for some essential songs and the "rare" tracks aren't much good

the single disc comp (can't recall the title) is better

Blend of bluegrass and jazz, with popular bassist Victor Wooten, great music to play while reading a book or writing a paper.
Yeah, man, good grab. You need to grab the other albums, UFO Tofu and Hidden Land too... But Flight of the Cosmic Hippo is my favorite...

I'm looking at getting their entire discography, as well as Bela Fleck's solo album discography as well. All in good time.

In the mean time I grabbed this little beauty.

Has-Lo - In Case I Don't Make It (2011)

God damn... I'm glad I didn't sleep on this any longer... it's been a long time since I heard a hip hop album as moody as this.
