The Cramps—Bad Music for Bad People (1984) Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've never listened to this album. A million years ago when I was in my late teens a friend loaned me some Cramps album (Flamejob I think) and, though I had really high hopes for it, I was pretty disappointed. Well, after listening to one of their songs on the Return of the Living Dead soundtrack and liking it, I figured I'd give them another shot and try one of their most famous albums. I haven't listened to any of it yet. We'll see how it turns out. |

I hate Bad Music for Bad People, purely for what it represents. It was a cynical, money-grabbing ploy made by IRS to squeeze every last penny out of the band following their departure. It's just a weaker, diluted version of Off the Bone!
/rant over. A Date with Elvis is the only post-IRS album I'd say is worth checking out. |
