Practically stole it too. Just a penny plus shipping. I love the internet.

Default new purchase

I just got Great Lake Swimmers album Bodies and Minds, its great! Very arid, ambient folk music.

Basso Profondo From Old Russia

This is the video that made me get it:

I thought, "well these voices aren't THAT deep", and then Yuri Wichniakov came in. GOOSEBUMPS. I'm all over this.

Bowery Electric - Beat (1996)
A pretty damn good collision of shoegaze and trip-hop. They create a nice spacey hypnotic effect through the use of mininalism and droning and they pull it off effortlessly. Probably going to have this on heavy rotation for some time. Great stuff.

Bowery Electric - Lushlife (1999)
This is meant to be just as good so I thought I'd download it as well. Probably going to listen to it sometime tomorrow.
