five songs of just out right noise rock....i'd even use the term "by the numbers" which i feel with noise rock is a very good thing.....heavy distorted bass, feedback break downs, intelligent somewhat misanthropic and despondent lyrics....but not to the point of silliness....if these guys stick together i think some pretty good albums will come out of them....and yeah the cover and names of both the band and album kind of sold me on dropping the whopping $5 on the ep .... recommended for fans of Unsane, Kildozer, and (early) Today Is The Day

Head Wound City - Head Wound City

Lost this ages ago and have only just had the thought of re-downloading it. Still hits the spot, all 10 minutes it. I used to have the album cover on a tshirt... lost that too. Life doesn't want me to be a fan of HWC.

A expanded version of a long defunct punk band from the late 70's. This has the original 7" single plus demos and live tracks from CBGB's. Think early Blondie. Catchy but with an edge. Decent enough.

Featuring various members of past Death metal bands this is refreshing and surprising in that it sounds like 80's era Death Metal with a splash of New York Hardcore. Superb guitar sound coupled with hardcore style vocals makes it stand out in the crowd as 90% of metal bands these days sound exactly the same.
