Taint - The Ruin of Nova Roma (2005)

Welsh sludge metal band that infuses post-hardcore with sludge and stoner rock that makes something... quite enjoyable actually. Definitely not anything mind blowing, but it's a good album to have around when you want something atmospheric and melodic, but also gritty.

Cocteau Twins - Victorialand
Found this on CD today for only €4.99. I already had an mp3 of the song 'Lazy Calm' but other than that this album has been absent from my collection. It's very interesting hearing Cocteau Twins without drums (or at least minimal use of drums) as it gives the music more of a floaty ambient feel.

It's not my fault that I listen to most things. I am bound to miss things from time to time! Always a pleasant surprise to find something from a couple of years back instead of constantly trying to keep up with the latest releases and failing at it
