St. Vincent - Actor
A wonderfully off-kilter indie-pop album. The brilliant opening track 'The Strangers' grabs your attention straight away but you start to loose attention a bit though toward the end of the album. But I'm sure if I become more familiar with it it'll sound better and better. Great stuff though.

The Field Mice - Skywriting + Singles
I can't get enough of this band at the moment. This is a combination of their Skywriting album from 1990 and their singles from that period. This is a bit more experimental than their debut Snowball and has more electronic elements creeping into their sound, sometimes sounding reminiscent of New Order. There's still plenty of traces of the jangle-pop sound from Snowball on certain songs and the two styles seem to compliment each other well.

The Field Mice are fantastic. Snowball is fantastic. Jangly Twee is fantastic. Zero, you're fantastic.

A Benefit For Anthony Poynter

A benefit comp done by Get Better! Records to raise money to help their friend battle cancer. It's a great cause from one of my favorite labels, worth the $10

Sleeptime Gorilla Museum - Grand Opening and Closing
I've been meaning to get this one for awhile. On my travels I stopped over at a record store and found this CD for 5 bucks. Quiet an epic album.

A Black Sabbath tribute album without a single metal band on it.
Interesting.

Edit : Just finished listening to an acoustic instrumental version of Iron Man.
Am now listening to a bluegrass version of Changes.
