The Radio Dept. - Lesser Matters (2003) I love their last album Clinging To A Scheme so it was only natural that I check out their other stuff as well. This album is a little bit noisier but still has the same hazy melancholic feel. Some nice guitar and keyboard melodies are allowed to shine through and overall this is a great mixture of noise and melody. Phantogram - Eyelid Movies (2009) The next album to be discussed in The Indie & Alternative Album Club. This album is a nice dreamy mixture of trip-hop beats, electronica and indie. Will certainly be a grower.

I discovered another one earlier in the week while listening to Gentle Giant's debut album, the song is "Funny Ways" and I bet you can guess which Madvillain song samples it.

and 90s pop punk sounds like summer to me. Kind of sad that both of these bands used to be good.
