Grouper - A I A : Alien Observer/Dream Loss (2011)
Listening to these right now. These pair of albums are probably the most beautiful I've heard this year, something about the music just draws you right in and immerses you. The combination of overlapping drones, oceans of reverb, far-away female vocals and lo-fi production creates a very mysterious and engaging sound, like she recorded in a huge vast open space just by herself, alone and shrouded in darkness.

The Stooges - The Stooges (1969)
Brilliant stuff! Although I've heard a good few of their songs before this is the first Stooges album that I've fully listened to. What strikes me is the awesome, menacing guitar sounds, and combined with Iggy's vocals creates a very threatening but controlled sound. The 10 minute 'We Will Fall' on the other hand is a hypnotic, super-trippy epic that will probably sound awesome with a bit of smoke.

Gary Numan - The Pleasure Principle (1979)
Going to listen to this in a little while. I'm already familiar with the song 'Cars' which I really love. Hopefully the rest of the album is just as good.

Harmonise (single) from Ipso Facto. I adore them, I'm trying to get everything else I can find but there's not much :(

Also enjoyable, but I'm not sure on it yet. I'm on a foreign/female vocal kick, they're russian.

KASMs- Spayed
I loooooooove this so much. Whoever the lead singer is ( I don't feel like looking it up but whatever) is amazing.

Red Lorry Yellow Lorry - Talk About the Weather
I don't know how I feel about this yet. It's okay, but it's kind of meh and not up to my standard.

Metro Decay - .....I don't even know what that is
Greek post punk I guess. I'm not too fond of it, most of the time if I don't understand what's being sung about I can take cues and the music makes up for it...but this just falls flat

My last purchase was Take Care, Take Care, Take Care by Explosions In The Sky. It's pretty good, but it gets a little samey a times.

First Stooges album you say? I cant recommend getting Funhouse as soon as you possibly can. I like this album but Funhouse makes it seem like an abomination in comparison.

Anyway, I recently bought physical copies of the following:

Archive - Noise - listening to it now and enjoying it.
Air - Moon Safari
Gorillaz - Demon Days
The Carpenters - Gold (Greatest Hits)
Van Halen - 5150
Prodigy - Fat of the Land
Love - Forever Changes - I had to have a physical copy of this sometime.
Yes - 90125
Kasabian - S/T
Nirvana - Nevermind - No, I didnt actually own this physically already.
Manic Street Preachers - The Greatest Hits (2xCD Special Editional) - wouldnt have bothered if it didn't come with the remix disc.

Some of them I already had digitally, others I didnt.

Love was £5. The combined total of the others was also £5.

Cheers, I'll certainly do that.
