I saw a little bit of chatter about it here recently and so grabbed it. I was very impressed. Nice, powerful, classical arrangements and an overall feeling of darkness and despair with a few spoken word samples of writers such as Blake and Shakespeare.
Yeah, it's dead impressive stuff eh.

As for me, I spent virtually all day listening to New Order's discography, which moved me to get hold of these;

Monaco - Music For Pleasure

Bad Lieutenant - Never Cry Another Tear

^ I don't expect many good things, particularly from the latter, but it's about time I gave them a chance.

Downloaded 'Green River' by Creedence Clearwater Revival just before dinner as the housemates and I were having mojitos and roast chicken and we decided we wanted a new album to celebrate the occasion!

Yeah, I really enjoyed it. Do you have anything that you think is rather similar, or that I may like?

Anyway, downloaded these:

OPGAVE - WRITING THE SILVER (2006) (TRIP-HOP/INSTRUMENTAL HIP-HOP)
Just giving it a first spin now but so far, so good.

STARS OF THE LID - THE TIRED SOUNDS OF...(2001) (AMBIENT/DRONE)
My expectations are high, so I hope I'm not disappointed.

Martial industrial/darkwave kinda stuff you mean? I don't listen to an awful lot of it, but if the Protagonist are your thing you'd like Across the Rubicon and Barbarossa Umtrunk for sure. Get in touch if you need help finding some of their stuff eh.

Hey, I've got that one too

If you want something similar to that and equally awesome, you should keep an eye out for Finding Beauty In the Wretched by Dirty Elegance.

Slowly but surely, all PJ shall be mine!

Love you Joe!

This is a fine album by my boys, not as epic as the first two, but there are some brill tracks on here
