That's the only Hoodoo Gurus I own, yeah, it's great.

Dog Man Star's fantastic, and so's their self-titled album. It's only recently that I've found myself listening to Suede again after a silence of several years, and realised I've only got Trash on their singles compilation. Head Music's one I've only heard a few songs off (She's In Fashion, Can't Get Enough and Everything Will Flow), which sound good enough to me, so I might as well make a stop there next.

As for Hoodoo Gurus, the two albums they did before Blow Your Cool are well worth it. Stoneage Romeos in particular's something of an overlooked pop classic in my eyes.

This is not a split between a techno artist and a modern day soul/house/funk musician, it's a split between two kids playing acoustic guitars. I like that a lot better.

Sounds interesting. Can you send me a link to it?

ULTIMATE SPINACH - S/T (1967) (Psychedelic rock)
I hadn't added to my 60s psych library in quite some time, and this one went down well. Terrible name, but a good listen.

THE PROTAGONIST - SONGS OF EXPERIENCE (2005) (MARTIAL INDUSTRIAL/NEOCLASSICAL DARKWAVE)
I saw a little bit of chatter about it here recently and so grabbed it. I was very impressed. Nice, powerful, classical arrangements and an overall feeling of darkness and despair with a few spoken word samples of writers such as Blake and Shakespeare.

Really really like it. A friend of mine recommended it because I listen to Bright Eyes. A great band for sure :)

I downloaded that Blind Pilot last summer and listened to it once. I haven't been inspired to revisit it yet.

They're sort of new to me, but any album is worth another listen I think.
