I wanted to hear "Movin' Out" so I decided to just get the whole kitten and ca-boodles.

Well... Not so much as bought. And not so much as an album.
I actually got about a 1000 well documented cassettes for free I've never heard of 2/3rd of the bands mentioned on the inlays. This could be because I don't like them, but in this case I'm really interested in what they are. The 1/3rd I do now contains mostly of good 60's and 70's rock (Beatles, Cure, King Crimson, Jethro tull) and 90's alternative and Rock (Noir Désir, Therapy? Iron maiden...). The previous owner (I don't know who that is, I got them from a friend of mine who couldn't find the time to listen to them) did a pretty amazing job making covers. He cut images out of magazines and spread them over various cassettes Looks great

A pretty good compilation of covers of songs by a wide array of bands, from the Beatles and the Beach Boys to Snowing and Neutral Milk Hotel. Some great one's include Chalk Talk's Cover of Wouldn't It Be Nice, Algernon Cadwallader's cover of This Boy, and Omeed Goodrazi's (of Midi & the Modern Dance) cover of Snowing's So I Shotgunned A Beer and Went Back To Bed.

Acid King - III Was looking to expand my doom collection beyond Electric Wizard, and i'd heard some good things about this so i decided to give it a shot. It's refreshing to hear a female vocalist in this type of music and her voice sounds really awesome against the crushing guitars. The only problem though is that there doesn't seem to be enough variety on this album, it seems pretty one-paced at times. But overall it's a really good album that will probably grow on me more over time. Sleep - Sleep's Holy Mountain HOLY ****ING **** THIS IS GOOD!! From the very moment 'Dragonaut' kicked in i knew this was going to be something special. It may just have some of the coolest riffs i've ever heard, they have this groove to them that gets you completely hooked. Their sound is just huge with lots of texture and detail. This feels like an album i could live inside for a while.

Isabella Hup! - Zeena Parkins
Haven't listened to it yet, and this is my first foray into Parkins. But, she was a massive influence on Zorn, and a fairly significant avant-garde musician from what I hear, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Edit: Wait, I guess it's two different albums. Isabella and Hup! Still, from listening so far EXTREMELY impressive stuff.

Not really "new", but I just ordered a hard copy of it (finally). As far as downloads: Which I'm listening to (and enjoying) right now.
