As much hate as young money gets, they really aren't that bad. I'm enjoying this album. There are a couple of tracks that are meant to be skipped mainly the ones that hit radio and were hits but the last five tracks of the album is top notch

white white sisters - [euphoriaofeuphobia]
what caught my attention was the mixture of electronic dance music with atmospheric guitar work and multi-media digital minimalism.....it all blends very nicely |

That Age Sixteen album is fantastic and the Captain, Your Ship Is Sinking album seems interesting...maybe I'll pick it up.

The Captain, Your Ship Is Sinking album was quite interesting. at times it was really bleak and dark. It somehow had the same bleakness that's usually found on black metal. I have to listen to it more to really grasp it but thus far it's quite promising. |

Soundpool - Dichotomies & Dreamland A very interesting and well done collision of shoegaze and electronica. Very enjoyable stuff. Blind Melon - Blind Melon After listening to my friend raving about them over the weekend and telling me that they were the most underrated band of the 90's i decided to check this out to see for myself. It's not bad i guess but it doesn't really do much for me either. It sounds a tad dated, with the funky sound and overly-soulful vocals making it sound like it was supposed to stay in the 90's. But still there's a few good songs and some good guitar work.

Iron & Wine - Kiss Each Other Clean
He continues to move in a more polished, fuller direction which disappoints me a little but there are some really great highlights on this one.
