Yeah I agree. It serves its purpose. It doesn't detract, nor does it add anything. Though I really wish he wouldn't have used copperplate for all the text on the bottom. Anything else. Except for maybe comic sans.

I think what bugs me most, in order of most annoying: the loose leading of "Space Probe", the illegible type at the bottom, the use of Copperplate.

But the placement of type (particularly the Saturn part) and offset white text on the name and title also bug me. So yeah, I stand by my original statement...the typography sucks. ;)

I think the whole cover sucks TBH

Yuck - Yuck
What a brilliantly refreshing debut album! There's nothing exactly original here, but they've somehow managed to harness everything that i love about late 80's and 90's alternative rock on this album. They've done an excellent job of channeling the spirit of bands like Dinosaur Jr., Teenage Fanclub and Yo La Tengo and updating the alternative rock sound for the year 2011. If this album isn't in my 'best of 2011' list at the end of the year then i'll eat my toenails. The world needs more bands like this right now.

Haare - Chemical Witchcraft

Imagine a Hawkwind live album with all the songs taken out.
This is how it would sound.

Found it very boring the first time around, I actually fell asleep halfway through. A few more listens and seems pleasant and interesting. Love Zebra and Norway.

Dinosaur Jr. - You're Living All Over Me

I really can't understand how music like this was coming out in the '80s. Freaking ridiculous, wish I would have found this album earlier. Gives me a whole new impression of the decade to be honest.
